Chateau Louise Restaurant in Luna Pier

Ordered the chicken parmigiana. It was delicious. Had enough for 2 meals!!

Everything looks totally different but the food is the same, very delicious!

We loved the Halloween decorations outside and in. The place was packed but we were able to get a seat in the bar area. It took a minute for us to get served but once we did she was great. The onion rings were fantastic, then we ordered a great sampler type meal with steak, scallops sauteed, blackened shrimp and deep fried perch, all was done perfectly. Enjoyed it all 👍

The new owners have done a fantastic job renovating. It has such a comfortable homey atmosphere. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive. I can tell you the onion rings are the best I have ever had. Their homemade salad dressings really elevate the salad. The perch dinner is my favorite hands down. The breading is light and not greasy at all. I’d love to tell you about other menu items, but I can’t get past the perch! If you haven’t been there, it is well worth it.

Onion rings were great. Vegetable beef soup was over salty and had no beef in it. Our order supposedly didn't go through the computer and our order took over an hour to get. I will not go back.

Very impressed with this small town establishment. Newer owners have done a great job renovating. Homemade apps are very good, seafood is great ! Service was attentive... and Mngt. is aware of customers needs - something that most places lack. Will be back.

We were in the area and I was told earlier to try Chateau Louise. We were not disappointed when we walked in and saw how nice it looked inside the restaurant. One of the owners came over and started talking to us and explained it was remodeled recently. They had Two Hearted on tap and that's always a good thing. We both ordered burgers and they came out delicious. There is a flavoring in the beef that sets it apart and we couldn't quite figure out what it was. Possibly a garlic based flavor. The onion rings were really good too. They were lightly breaded and tasty. I'm glad we stopped by and gave Chateau Louise a try.

The new owners have really made this place shine. Food was really good, as well. Attentive staff. If you haven't been here, give it a shot. I don't eat fish, but everyone else loved the perch. I got a steak, which was quite nice. Hand cut fries. Homemade salad dressing. So, good food and a fun new look equals very cool. 😉👍

Sad, they threw a coat of pant on it and shined up the old. You cant hear yourself think nor hear anyone with you because it's so loud from the music and everyone trying to talk over it. The food has changed also. We had 4 different dinners and I cant say anything good about any of them. We used to love going in there. It's sad we will miss that place. We wont go back.

Restaurant is in great shape and the new owners have done a ton of work to bring her back to life. I was introduced to the filet mignon about 25 yrs ago and The Chateau has been known in my kind for that ever since. This time I tried the seafood. The seafood was as good or better then most with in a 50 mile radius but maybe to close to one local competitor when it comes to price. The breading is unique and adds a very good flavor to the perch, scallops and shrimp. Just a little more in price then what would be expected for the quantity. The drink is a toasted snowball that was discovered many years ago by us here but we can’t find it anywhere else. All in all kudos to the new owners and even more to the patrons as the meals are great and the service is awesome.

Heading home from Michigan? Make the stop. Really fun bar! Great menu. Friendliest waitstaff around. Highly recommend. Haven't eaten in the dining room, but it's available in case you want a quieter dinner. Fried chicken dinner is amazing!

Terrible experience. My child's plain burger was completely raw in the middle. After sending it back for a replacement, it came back slathered in condiments which is not what we ordered. 3 straws for a family of 5, no refills, and we had to ask for napkins. Our waitress Victoria needs more experience in customer service and handling food. When we questioned the bill, She expected us to pay for the uneaten burger. She then loudly asked if I'm "trying to get the burger taken off the bill" while rushing me. I told her no thanks, I'll go ahead and pay for the lunch my 10 year old didn't eat. As a chef, I am SO disappointed. Shame on you. Stick to 2 tables, maybe then you can properly tend to your customers needs.

Definitely had good choices on the menu. The food was very tasty. The 1lb burger didn't disappoint. The bartender Shelly didn't pay any attention to me when I wanted to play keno, which was a bummer. But the food helped make up for it.

I had lunch there and the seafood tacos are great but everything they have on the menu is excellent!!

First time here and we really enjoyed it. It was a Friday night so it was crazy busy and we did have about 45 minutes waiting. Perhaps that's a testament to the good food though.My wife had the chicken marsala. She said it was very good, in her top three for this dish.I had the all you can eat perch and it was fantastic. I gave the waitress a heads-up that I can smash some perch and asked to keep a steady pace of fish coming. I was afraid I was still going to end up waiting in between plates, but nope, almost as soon as my perch was gone, she had more coming. I was very pleased.We really enjoyed our dinner and I would definitely recommend.

If you havent been there in a long time i suggest you change that! Best perch dinner around! Superb wait staff! Casual atmosphere. Reasonable prices. To die for cheesecake! The bleu cheese dressing is so thick and creamy! My family's favorite! I hope the owners dont change anything because its perfect just how it is!

Can’t wait to come again! It has a very cozy atmosphere inside. Wendy was a great waitress and was very helpful. The food was very delicious and came out quickly. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and the fillet mignon.

It was decent. The fries were rather mushy. The owners watch the parking lot ferociously, so don't park there unless you plan on going in. Or want a ticket. I've heard unsettling comments about the owners so be wary what small businesses you support.

We were served a dinner when we order off the lunch menu and waitress disagreed with us. It was a little after noon time when we were there. All the people in Luna Pier were so polite. We think the check should have been adjusted. As a result we will not recommend this place to anyone.

2nd time We have been there with the new owners. The place keeps looking better dinner is still great. Service was good and the dessert was excellent!

Succulent scallops. Very good fillet fish. Better than average shrimp.Yes i had the seafood platter. And some other stuff but that was over a week ago and i only remember the seafood. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

I’ve been eating her most of my life. My (WWII) Dad loved to take us here as kids. I still enjoy it today. Everything I’ve had is fantastic, but the whole deep fried pickerel, shrimp & scallops are to die for. Love the batter they use. It’s so light and crispy. Wait staff has always been excellent, kind and friendly service always.

Our first visit here, and we can't wait to go back. You can sit on the side with a bar atmosphere, or on the other side that is a more formal dining environment. Food was fresh and satisfying - we ordered simply. Chicken chunks are made of actual chicken with the slightest breading, loaded fries with chili and cheese, and a burger. They weren't heavy, but were tasteful yet filling. It's a great environment with the friendliest of staff. Great for a quick bite or for gathering with friends.

I take my family to this great restaurant quite often! This is my favorite spot to dine. I visit this place regularly. The cooking is great, the staff members are polite and the charge is affordable. I like eating in this restaurant for a nice dinner.

My husband and I stopped there couple of weekends ago. Food was good. Seems to be a bit unorganized We will definitely go back. I had pickerel. He had perch. And turtle soup I was very delicious.

Drove an hour to try the fried green pepper rings. They were totally worth every minute of the drive!!! Soooooooo good!!! The green pepper soup was good, but salty. The mozzarella sticks were delicious. Actual planks of fried cheese, not the usual stick of cheese that you get. The chicken chunks were very good as well as were the frog legs. The batter they use is light and crispy, not overpowering. The home-made chips looked great. Will definitely make the drive again:)

Always a great time. Half off apps and drinks specials during the week are awesome. Chicken, burgers, steaks, oysters, can't go wrong. And the desserts.....save room. I usually don't want dessert but I do here.

I haven't been up here to Chateau Louise for over 15 years. The place is REDONE. People are very nice . The food is wonderful ... Perch is as good as ever and the French fries are out of this world. So good ... We will be back soon.

We had the Seafood Dinner. The Scallops were succulent bits of seafood heaven. The most amazing taste and texture. The Perch and Shrimp did not disappoint The service was was extremely friendly and helpful. Ask for either Melissa or Sheila for a guaranteed great experience.

Food was alright,nothing special, but waitress refused to wear a mask,which I found very selfish of her especially since I am an at risk individual.i also believe it is against the law to serve food without a mask, if not it’s very stupid for a restaurant to let her serve food without one..

Chateau Louise is a local gem, the owners are there walking around, checking on patrons. Their friend chicken dinner for 2 is phenomenal and a great deal. So much food for 2 people. The chicken was amazing, great flavor and crispy. Also tried to filet mignon. It was juicy and full of flavor. Will definitely be back again for both. Cant wait to see what more they do with the restaurant.

Excellent atmosphere and service

Overpriced horrible bar food! Service was terrible and more than half their menu was unavailable. I waited over an hour just to get my appetizer. Worst place ever.

Got there early (5:30pm) and sat in the bar area so we could listen to the live music. (Hippie Chick Band is awesome!)Food and service were really good, but don't look for "healthy" options. This is all comfort food. The turtle soup should not be missed and is worth the upgrade with your dinner.I'm giving it 4 stars because a friend joined us around 6:45pm and ordered a burger which still had not come after 45 minutes so she cancelled the order. Not much of an apology either... so, if you go, get there early. Otherwise, be prepared to wait.

Service was nice, food was pretty good. But a little pricey.

My steak was tasty & my husband loved the perch. Great service! Can't wait to go back!
